In Classic Mode the game is played like most other Rock Band games.

Controller Compatibility

Unlike most games in the Rock Band series, Rock Band VR requires the use of the Rock Band VR Connector, and Oculus Touch to play.

If using Xbox One controllers, the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is required, while PlayStation 4 controllers only requires a Bluetooth connection.

In total Rock Band VR has 60 songs included with the game, and 20 downloadable songs.

Trivia

• Unlike many other games, Rock Band VR's setlist of purchased songs can only be played in Rock Band VR.
  • Also because of this no export song DLC is possible at the moment.
• This is the only Rock Band game published by Oculus Studios
• This is also the only Rock Band game officially released on Windows, or any PC environment.
• Rock Band VR currently has the least amount of released DLC, only at 20.
