Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2 is an expansion disc for the Rock Band series featuring 20 master recordings previously released as downloadable content on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network Store. Unlike the first expansion, Vol. 2 is available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well as the Wii and PlayStation 2. Much like the AC/DC Live pack, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions also include a code to download the songs to a hard drive for use in other Rock Band games.[1][2][3]

Trivia[]
- This was the last Rock Band game for a few things:
- The last Rock Band game not to be compatible with Guitar Hero instruments on the Wii.
- This was the last Rock Band game to have highly compressed, pre-rendered videos with the style of graphics from the first Rock Band in the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions. The Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of all the track packs following this one have highly compressed, pre-rendered videos with the Rock Band 2 style graphics. Just like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of this track pack and the AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track pack, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the track packs following this one use the graphics from the first Rock Band.
- The one of heavy metal bands of characters in the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions wear different outfits in the video for You've Got Another Thing Comin' than they do in the video for Afterlife, or the videos for Enter Sandman, Paranoid, and Welcome Home in the first Rock Band.
- Interestingly however, the trailer for this track pack features these characters playing You've Got Another Thing Comin' while wearing the same outfits they wear in the Afterlife, Enter Sandman, Paranoid, and Welcome Home videos.
