Maynard Winter is a character in the Rock Band series who first appears in Rock Band and is one of the playable Session Musicians in Rock Band 2 and Lego Rock Band.

Maynard Winter has curtained black hair and wears a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes with white skulls on them. He also wears white sunglasses with black lenses. In Lego Rock Band, his sunglasses are slightly different and are dark gray with black lenses.

Maynard is a guitarist/bassist character in the first Rock Band and can be seen playing any song on either guitar or bass. However, he is only seen playing bass in the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of Rock Band, Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 1 and Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2. In Rock Band 2, he can be seen doing vocals, guitar, bass, or drums on any song from the Alternative, Nu-Metal, and Emo genres, but can be used for any genre since he's a playable character. He can also be seen playing any song on any instrument in Lego Rock Band.

Trivia
- Maynard is one of the six characters to appear in every version of Rock Band and to be a playable Session Musician in Rock Band 2. The other five include American Phil, Moosejaw Boudreau, Ol' Smokey, Sharky, and Sir Thomas.
- In addition, he and Moosejaw Boudreau appear in a picture in the "LEAD SINGER" section in the first Rock Band's game manual.
- He and American Phil are the only two playable male Session Musicians in Rock Band 2 to not have facial hair.
- Maynard and two of his bandmates from the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of the first Rock Band appear in a picture in the Rock Band section in Volume 229 of Nintendo Power magazine.
