Song Structure[edit | edit source]

The song starts out with a fast, fairly difficult main riff with a lot of quick note changes. This part is known as "Holy Wars." The first guitar solo is acoustic, and signals the point where the song slows down. The slow part is known as "The Punishment Due." This part has two more guitar solos, but these shouldn't pose a huge problem. When the song speeds up, that signals the arrival of the hardest solo of the song, with relentless HOPOs, fast alt-strumming, and quick ascending sequences.
